Though coincidentally I have been thinking this option really needs to
be in Settings. It's the only reason I install gnome-tweaks myself.

Title:
Touchpad's right click function disabled by default and cannot be
changed in Settings; I have to use the gsettings command

Status in gnome-settings-daemon package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
Randomly, after I boot the PC, suddenly the right-click option becomes
disabled, and I am forced to run "gsettings set
org.gnome.desktop.peripherals.touchpad click-method areas" to set it
  back.

This setting should not have changed in the first place, and it
randomly happened after booting the PC a day after shutting it off.
