Title:
Policykit Authentication Agent does not close and blocks shutdown in
Gnome
Status in policykit-1-gnome package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Binary package hint: policykit-1-gnome
When using the gnome shutdown command, the system will not shutdown
because the policykit authentication agent will not close by itself,
and requires killing before shutdown (you have to click force quit)
otherwise the system waits for you to choose an option. I would have
expected it to shut down like everything else does in the shutdown
procedure.
