Thank you for your bug report, it could be a difference in the fonts
installed/selected or in freetype or in poppler, we don't really have
any font expert around to investigate those issues though

Title:
  bad kerning

Status in evince package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
Evince exhibits incorrect/bad kerning on 20.04.

This occurs in 19.10 as well.
It does *not* occur in qpdfview (also poppler-based) on the same system, or
in Evince on Arch Linux.

I'm stumped. Seeing as this doesn't occur in Evince on Arch, it has to
be some kind of dependency/packaging/lib problem?
