PCI/no sound at all since last updating

Bug description:
My last updating a few hours ago was quite different than usual.
Since then, many things are not working properly on my computer :
- my desktop is very strange (files have lost their appearance or doesn't
appear at all)
-there is no more sound at all : if I try to play a mp3 file or on the
internet
(I checked the settings of course)
