Title:
gnome-shell flooding the syslog
Status in gnome-shell package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
Syslogs are full of the following message:
10:18:44 <hostname-redacted> gnome-shell[2423]: Attempting to call back into
JSAPI during the sweeping phase of GC. This is most likely caused by not
destroying a Clutter actor or Gtk+ widget with ::destroy signals connected, but
can also be caused by using the destroy(), dispose(), or remove() vfuncs.
Because it would crash the application, it has been blocked and the JS callback
not invoked.
Apr 7 10:18:44 <hostname-redacted> gnome-shell[2423]: The offending signal
was notify on ShellWindowTracker 0x55c1ae4b84d0.
Causing the disk to fill up which causes many other issues in turn.
