Thanks for these useful data points Merlijn. That is certainly an important use case that we want to continue supporting. I had a quick look at both the github repository and the "Belgium eID" firefox extension (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/belgium-eid/), and I can't find any references to nativeMessaging there. Am I missing another piece of the puzzle? Or could it be that this is a different problem altogether?
