For the record, this is related to bug #930785. I think the fix of that bug is as far as we will get.

When I choose a new locale, Occitan, it gets installed and everything. But when I click the Regional formats tab to choose Occitan from France, the overview is buggy. Here with Ubuntu Mate, but the same everywhere else it's the same. I have to restart, maybe log out and in again would be enough, to have the correct display.
