I also have an issue where my touchscreen stops working after closing the lid the first time. I am not sure however if this is related.

My dedicated graphics is an Nvidia Geforce MX250. About every two times I shut the lid of my laptop, I get no desktop with the error on the screen and no ability to do anything. I am forced to reboot. Please help!
