Should add that this is fixable with: sudo snap remove firefox sudo snap install firefox
All firefox data, up to and including open tabs, etc, is retained through the reinstall of the snap. Ideally things like this should 'just work' and perhaps best to push an update that fixes rather than relying on users to manually reinstall after the upgrade. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to firefox in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1986456 Title: Firefox fails to start after update Status in firefox package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: After system Updates today (14.08.2022) firefox did not start anymore.
