Error al intentar abrir archivos en Visual Studio Code

Buenas tardes, intento abrir un archivo desde Visual Studio Code, pero no me
permite acceder a la pestaña de "Abrir archivo", tambien se congela el programa
en cuestion hasta que quito la pestaña "Abrir archivo".
