You have to change the order manually in System -> Preferences -> Appearance. This should be done automatically. I already posted this on brainstorm: http://brainstorm.ubuntu.com/idea/21954 I implemented this in my rotation scripts like this: xrandr -o inverted gconftool-2 --type string --set /desktop/gnome/font_rendering/rgba_order "bgr" this can be done for all the other rotations with rgb, bgr, vrgb, vbgr.
