It's becoming a pattern that DING doesn't respond well to scaling changes, so I've grouped the bugs here:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell-extension-desktop- icons-ng/+bugs?field.tag=scaling ** Package changed: mutter (Ubuntu) => gnome-shell-extension-desktop- icons-ng (Ubuntu) ** Tags added: scaling -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to mutter in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2092486 Title: Can't move desktop icons past an invisible barrier Status in gnome-shell-extension-desktop-icons-ng package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: I'm not sure of the package in this bug, so I selected mutter and will let you decide. I was running xorg, but decided to give wayland a try. I logged out, logged in into a wayland session, adjusted my screen resolution and scaling to my liking, and thought that was it. But turns out I now can't move my existing (or new) desktop icons (folders, in this case), past an invisible barrier on the right. I have attached a screen grab showing the problem. My display settings are: 2880x1800 (16:10) 90Hz Scale 125% Fractional scaling: enabled ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 24.04 Package: mutter 46.2-1ubuntu0.24.04.4 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 6.8.0-51.52-generic 6.8.12 Uname: Linux 6.8.0-51-generic x86_64 NonfreeKernelModules: zfs ApportVersion: 2.28.1-0ubuntu3.3 Architecture: amd64 CasperMD5CheckResult: pass CurrentDesktop: ubuntu:GNOME Date: Wed Dec 25 10:35:28 2024 InstallationDate: Installed on 2024-07-13 (165 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 24.04 LTS "Noble Numbat" - Release amd64 (20240424) ProcEnviron: LANG=en_US.UTF-8 PATH=(custom, no user) SHELL=/bin/bash TERM=xterm-256color XDG_RUNTIME_DIR=<set> SourcePackage: mutter UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell-extension-desktop-icons-ng/+bug/2092486/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
