Bug description:

Steps to produce the problem (mostly, unfortunately not every time):
switch to another workspace in Unity (Ctrl-Alt left/right/up/down), then
switch back to the workspace where firefox is, press Ctrl-T to open a new tab
and type in the address bar.
No popup will be shown. Also if you have bookmarks in the bookmark toolbar,
the popups will not open.
This also is likely to happen if the screensaver was active before.
Pressing Alt-Tab to push the window in the background and back to foreground
again makes the popup work.
