Apologies to Mark for including you. I just don't see any other way to bring this up.
The way this bug has been triaged just seems to guarantee lots of deflected issues. Naturally it's fine if the issue has already been corrected. But most users aren't going to know/bother to get the latest release of Empathy unless it involves a distro upgrade. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to empathy in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/923124 Title: Control-C copy shortcut doesn't work in Empathy Windows Status in “empathy” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Whenever I highlight a block of text in an empathy chat window and press control-c, the text is not copied to my clipboard.
