Brian, of course and I'm sorry I had to take the approach that I did. Although I think you can obviously see from how this bug was traiged that no sensible process was implemented in the first place. The only thing I changed the status for was to ensure that it didn't get terminated through routine dismissals.
I only worry now how many other bugs out there have been handled in such a fashion and how this may be affecting Ubuntu's overall quality. All the tiny workflows and use cases that actually end up defining many peoples' frustrations and first impressions of Ubuntu are probably lost like this! -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to empathy in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/923124 Title: Control-C copy shortcut doesn't work in Empathy Windows Status in “empathy” package in Ubuntu: Triaged Bug description: Whenever I highlight a block of text in an empathy chat window and press control-c, the text is not copied to my clipboard.
