Title:
  unmaximizing an maximasing thunderbird window displays a white one

Status in “thunderbird” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  When I minimize thunderbird and then maximize it clicking on the icon on  the 
launcher I get a white window with nothing written in it (see attached image: 
screenshot1).
  I have to double click on the top thunderbird menu bar to unmaximize it so it 
returns to normal state, and then click on the maximize button again (see 
attached image: screenshot2).
