Title:
Network list is broken when using OpenMoko USB networking

Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
I followed the instructions given here
(http://wiki.openmoko.org/wiki/Usb_networking#Debian.2C_Ubuntu_and_others) to
connect my OpenMoko to my notebook.
Now the entries in my network list are broken, i.e. my ethernet connection
(previously labelled as "Auto eth0") is now called "ifupdown (usb0)" (please
see attached screenshots).
