after i tried unsuccessfully to install my seagate hard drive...tried to
partition now i cannot type password in my terminal

  terminal does not let me print my pass word

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: gnome-terminal

  I wan`ted to install drivers for my nvida graphics card. I typed sudo
  dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg   when my password was asked for I could
  not print it  it was as if the key board was not connected. I have
  just put Ubuntu 7.04 onto my computer. Also firefox keeps crashing
