Unable to extend the console shell in current snapshot

I've followed the instructions from
http://felix.apache.org/site/61-extending-the-console.html on extending the
karaf console shell.
When I install my bundle into the current Karaf 1.1.0-SNAPSHOT, the osgi bundle
installs but the command cannot be found. I found this working properly in the
Karaf 1.0 release.
