It looks like we did not build and vote qpid-management-qman ?

Hi Carl / Martin, I had a look at the download page...Two questions :

1) Qman bundle is 72Mb...it is packaged with the java broker? Why? As I understood we decided to release a separated artifact (that one built with ant build-bin-release and that I can see here : http://people.apache.org/~ritchiem/Qpid-0.5/RC4/qpid-management-client-0.5.tar.gz <http://people.apache.org/%7Eritchiem/Qpid-0.5/RC4/qpid-management-client-0.5.tar.gz>) 2) If it has to be distributed in that way then there are some problems with (for example) log4j.xml...the one that comes with the bundle doesn't contains qman categories. In addition there's no a "log" directory in the dist. 3) The JMX adapter startup script is throwing an error on windows because it tries to set CLASSPATH with all the jars found in the lib directory. It says "command line too long"..I think that there a too many libraries to load.

The result of the Vote are as follows

6 Total +1 Votes including 6 PMC Members.

There were no 0 or -1 votes.

So I can declare RC4 officially as Qpid 0.5

I've coped the files to /www/www.apache.org/dist/qpid
        <http://www.apache.org/dist/qpid> so they should
        be appearing here (http://www.apache.org/dist/qpid) shortly.

Thanks to all that made this release possible and one of our
        lowest RC
counts yet. Now if we can just get the total release process
        time down
        things will be wonderful.

All we need to do now is tell
        Martin
