This smells like a nasty bug !

I do have notifications working on my 1.4 devices that I hack. But now
that you are talking about, it's true that I missed a couple of SMS
earlier today when hacking. So maybe we have a recent regression on
this, I'm quite sure it was okay a couple of days ago.
