Wow, thanks! I'll try this out soon. I didn't know about the GitHub site.
Looks like I can just download from
https://github.com/apc-io/apc-rock-firmware-update and update to version
1.01.02 which is an improvement over 1.1.0.0 (I assume). I am now in the
process of setting up a specific FxOS/Fedora machine for building.

Also thanks for the info about the MAC address. I don't need it for some
network setups but I do need it for others.

>From something I saw somewhere but can't find, could part of the problem be
that my PC is NTFS and that the Rock doesn't work with that? I would like
to be able to put things on and take things off the Rock from a PC the way
I can with my Peak and ZTE.

I'm also about read to test a HDMI to VGA converter. The Rock VGA doesn't
work but I'm assuming it will at some time. I only have DVI or VGA monitors.

I guess for now, this is the APC Rock/Paper forum but a dedicated one would
be great!
