Thought this way: Say, Mozilla (and volunteering contributors) writes Firefox OS with default to open (read: hackable, flashable, customizable etc.). How much effort does this need? How much effort do OEMs would have to spend in order to “fix” (read: lock down again) this? I reckon that this could hurt the relationship to OEMs, though. But I'm a consumer, so I can just ask without fear :) Regards, André -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.22 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://www.enigmail.net/ iQIcBAEBAgAGBQJTTZzeAAoJEItOSkzr43M3dlAQAKUvw7MmqZ9ITuVdr16c3xQG q5VxHArpuZ8qe0cmSOuSnZj3WHQ88bY1mS3rDgkUaaFdNztqbY+GXPZUaK9agDRx YSrIUUA78dLewFHdSS5qSn7sUWLBw1CoA6Tksgj/ek7Ml6N8G+ADJ+9eh1umeCQg m/W7YSAwlyymyJXD9/MLg4atKzzMHYCWTGRRIkRMV3G0n12evGaLO2E87CCRdxYc xvSwIxY3aZrYrNZ2lMxqjzfvhVHNujdFC8ZMyjiCtgxLq9exLRIsPWU0ONxxKF4+ MqYfX7WLZo7iB1FGLmDhiexIkwqR2/mh/Nn5sspe6sK14LKfX8dEnrdXiRiIHnDg BM8u7DNqig73KJrQGRPXyfNa7K0Hwwgz9YSXbTIeO9thbjy2qOwShAHrDkGVpsey dVGI6DTH8eD85P2f1THIBA6xpWYFAsT57Jf9kvgx72g8KX0cuhEGOeSU2/FBx785 w2thuk1DrY1mXSfQCom0fQS3VxCje6S0qBpvk2M6w5XYceHXE67E573eTjGr23Fq D/vinRyvcL2H7eXKdKmTUcvqnvlGcz5q9iTjazuFqGw9N6M4TeGP5VxUMHo9SVxq sGcR2cl02RQNBy4F7I6yLXMGrzdT9daeycNZQg1XMxMcKB2XeXCHQaQEZmxxPTgc qry/FnxCzqV9k1RVxER+ =niL6 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ dev-b2g mailing list [email protected] https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/dev-b2g
