No, really? This was the case when I built v1.2, I thought this must
have been fixed by now.

So I need to upgrade to a working good v1.2 image using fastboot
flashing and then adb upgrade to a (hopefully) fixed v1.4 tree? Is this
something that will get fixed (having complete, working images seems
like something that would be important).
