There's been nothing official from ZTE past that 1.2 beta but there's
some custom builds floating around, see here:

I'm not sure about the relative stability of those images but if you
need help moving past 1.2 that looks like a good place to start from.

The ZTE Open experience - as far as updates go - has been extremely
sketchy and that's really an unfortunate state of affairs. I've been
toying with the ZTE Open C and that one has already received multiple
(!) updates so they might be getting their update story straight.
