Question for those who are complaining about taking screenshots. What version of the phone are you using? I've noticed that on 2.2 (and probably 2.1), the new delay makes it a much more deliberate action. It just seems that we can solve this through software, and I think we may have already done so.
The power cycling thing is definitely an issue for me as well.
