I just tried texmfstart without any variables (but with adjusted PATH, of course), and it seems to work just fine here, much better than expected. I had to regenerate all my formats because the texmf-linux subtree is no longer part of the TEXMF searches, but after texexec --make all now seems to be fine (with the new formats in texmf-project). To other people: you may want to try this also. Perhaps setuptex has been obsolete for years without any of use realising it ;-) Best wishes, Taco _______________________________________________ dev-context mailing list dev-context@ntg.nl http://www.ntg.nl/mailman/listinfo/dev-context
