I suppose not all abstract commands has <cd:instances> tag. For example, \ORNAMENT does not have <cd:instances>, but it is still recognized as an abstract keyword (slanted). In my python script, I recognized every abstract keyword by determining if it has a <cd:sequence> tag, which seems to be right.

Not all commands which let you create instances have predefined ones, e.g. there are no predefined descriptions.
