Hello, I want to switch from MS IE Browser-Control to Gecko for my new appliction, for security reasons.
I've searched for ways how to embed and found the Mozilla ActiveX-Project on http://www.iol.ie/~locka/mozilla/mozilla.htm, but its development and support has stopped since FF 1.5 I now have simply downloaded the Seamonky 1.1b Zip-Distribution, registrated mozctl.dll which I found in it and added to my VS Toolbar. For the beginning it seemes to work perfectly. I found out that I'm browsing with the following user agent: Mozilla/5.0 Gecko/20061101 SeaMonkey/1.1b Now I'm confused: Is this a recent Gecko version (1.8.1), may be the same as FF 2.0, or is it older, may be the same as in the Mozilla ActiveX-Project? I did not deal with any XulRunner builds and sdks... For what do I need them? For future updates?
