Thanks Ryan for the great summary. I hadn't realized we talked about to much.
I'd like to add a couple of things: - The new prioritization and backlog process is a test and we should continue to evolve it to best serve us so share feedback as we go along. I guess... I'm just making sure we have more to talk about in our retrospectives. ;) - Our first sprint will likely just focus on 1 feature as we wrap up Q3. Moving forward, we'll probably focus on 2 at a time. - This prioritization process doesn't support all the work we have to do for general maintenance. I suggested we rotate 1-2 people every sprint between product and maintenance. I'm open to other ideas so please share. -- Alex Davis // Mountain View Product Manager // FxA & Sync (415) 769-9247 IRC & Slack: adavis On Thu, Oct 6, 2016 at 10:15 PM, Ryan Kelly <[email protected]> wrote: > > Hi All, > > > We had our weekly FxA Product Meeting today, and the recording is > available here: > > https://vreplay.mozilla.com/replay/showRecordDetails.html?recId=3715 > > It was a bit of a different approach from product meetings in the past, > so if you're interested in product planning for FxA, it's definitely > worth a watch. > > This week we tried out Alex's "FxA Feature Pipeline" spreadsheet [1] to > try to pick the best new feature to kick off with for Q4 - the thing > that's most likely to give us bang for our buck in moving our sign-in > success rate KPI. > > We didn't quite reach a conclusion, but we assigned a lot of scores to a > lot of ideas and generated some good discussion.
