The search bar is part of the homescreen, but not the lockscreen,
notification area and task manager.

No, you only need the privileged settings:wallpaper.image permission to
change the wallpaper.

The marketplace team is finalizing that part. I think there will be a
dedicated category in the marketplace for easy discovery.
