We have blogs and old bugs that refer to B2G Desktop and Desktop builds. We even have builds still : https://tools.taskcluster.net/index/artifacts/#gecko.v1.mozilla-central.latest.linux.b2g-desktop/gecko.v1.mozilla-central.latest.linux.b2g-desktop.debug My thought is that it would confuse people of the two different items. the mechanism on how they run are different.
