Hi Asa

I was able to rescue my Flame by following the steps from
https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Firefox_OS/Phone_guide/Flame/Updating_your_Flame#Shallow_Flash_to_the_latest_Firefox_OS_nightly_(Gaia_and_Gecko)

In my case because I use Windows10, I had to use the Cygwin 64 bit (
https://cygwin.com/setup-x86_64.exe) - this is not mentioned in the Wiki
above. It took me a few tries until I realised that the error I was getting
was because of the 32bit Cygwin

Then I copied the last working OTA on the folder with Cygwin. I used this
location to get it:
https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/b2g/nightly/2016/01/2016-01-05-15-02-20-mozilla-central-flame-kk/

I executed then the shallow flash script and it did it's job until I got
this:

### Push Done.

and then it got stuck there. The phone didn't react anymore. I had to
unplug the USB cable and then the phone restarted. It rebooted and I lost
all my apps. But strangely not my pinned sites and pages.

It took me a while to reinstall my apps. Fortunately if you go to the
Marketplace you can see your apps if you go to: My apps. I could easily
reinstall them.

Btw, this is the bug that caused the misery:
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1221056

Good luck and I hope that the OTA of tomorrow is good
