One way is that you could manually sideload the update.zip file and then
update with the nightly-latest.
To side load :
1) connect the device to the computer
2) adb reboot recovery
3) use the volume up/down to move around in the menu to select sideload
option
4) select power button to select that option
5) adb sideload update.zip
6) wait until it finishes sideloading, navigate to the reboot option and
hit the power button
