I fully agree with Dennis. Prepare some snippets like the one for Econda
and your done, most of the Shopowners use external statistics so it's
not needed for OXID to maintain a own one.
But before you cut off the feature, we should take a community survey
about the usage of the statistics tool.

Really great idea, this will take the load off the oxid devs to maintain the
statistics module itself but will also give the users fantastic statistics.
