Hi Björn, we are already using composer with OXID for about 2 years now and also made the changes to the composer-installers repo. I’d love to see a deeper integration of composer in the OXID core, so we should talk about how it could work.
I already tried to set up activation via composer hooks, but it turned out, that there are a couple of problems, especially on OXID EE with subshops. We are using the Symfony Console Component for the CLI stuff ... My workmate Philip will give a lecture on how we use OXID with composer at the OXID commons. Unfortunately, I won’t be there to talk about that topic face-to-face :( Any ideas on how to proceed?
