Yes... I should have said "If you would have disabled the 'Use Envelope
header' option and FreeXP would thus use the address from the To:
header, it could be changed to '[EMAIL PROTECTED]'".

But that was simply too long. ;)

At least they seem to have implemented this feature a while ago (see
'Usenet groups with "."' under C/D/N). The online help doesn't tell
anything about that this would also change the display of mail folders,
that's why I wasn't aware of that. They also have just this one option
while both FreeXP and OpenXP have two options.

But the default, I think, is that it is disabled in XP2?

See above.

It doesn't put anything in front of any address. As explained, it just
uses the address of the envelope header (because you have told FreeXP to
do so).

Disable the "Use Envelope Header" option for this server and you're
done. Or tell your mail provider to not generate Delivered-To: headers.

Due to a number of reasons, you should download and use the latest test
version of the Enhanced UUZ. The behaviour with respect to envelope
headers for instance has changed in so far as any of the other three
envelope headers take precedence over a Delivered-To: header, if both
should exist (no matter in which order they appear).

If you set this option, UUZ is called with the -UseEnvTo switch.

See above -- that's the reason. :-)
