Hi All,

When a new type is created in the datamodule, the dialoghandler creates a new
tree and a default dialog for that type. De DataModule is restarted, and the
rootpath and menu-item for that path are created (if necessary). When data is
created using a certain type, activation fails if the type has not been
activated first. So you have to activate the type first, not a big deal. At the
public instance the type, rootpath and menu-item are created, and the nodetype
is registered. Now the data itself can be activated.

NOT created are the dialog and the tree for this type. Option: maybe the dialog
can be activated too, together with the type. Not sure if this is really
necessary. If the dialog is needed at public it can be activated manually. The
creation of the tree could be moved from the dialoghandler to the DataModule.
This way the tree is created automatically when the type is activated. It is
not very likely that the tree definition was adapted at the author side. The
dialog definition most likely has.

Your views on this matter are appreciated, as always!

Best regards, Bert
