Hi David,

Magnolia and its modules are bundled as a war, that includes the Blossom module 
and your own modules. At startup it will install if that hasn't been done 
before. When you deploy a new version it will update if necessary. When you 
restart it will just start up. You can automate the install/update by setting a 
flag if the manual step is bothering you. Also, you should keep your repository 
data outside of the exploded webapp on disk, you don't want that wiped when you 
deploy.

Exactly what are the problems you're having with the archetypes? The archetypes 
should create a project structure identical to that of the sample.
