Hi Boris,

I'd like to know if it will be still possible to keep more than one version of a document, because this functionality is really essential and powerful for versioning. I think versioning system with only one version kept is not a good versioning system because we loose all things that make it powerful.

Will you integrate it again in future release of magnolia after the next release?

Thanks for your consideration,

CAPITAINE Harold

Hmm, I'm not sure removing the workflow management is a good move, as
that's one of the major benefits of 3.0. Is it at least still possible
to fiddle with it as an admin, even of the option isn't there for end
users via the admin interface?

What about the ability to skip the workflow altogether, which we can
currently do by assigning an 'empty' workflow. Will that option still
be there, or will users be 'stuck' with the default workflow even if
they don't need it?

No.

In our quest to simplify the Community Edition we now only release it
with a standard 4-eye workflow with currently no means to change it.
The same is true for versioning (only one previous version) and
subscribers (only one subscriber). While it may be annoying to some
already used to the previous state, it simplifies our work and
enables us to focus on shipping the final release. I am sure that
this is in the interest of the majority of people.

Boris
