Message.txt question

Hi Folks!

Question:  Should message.txt always be sent upon completion of an order?
The reason I ask is that we went live last night, and are now in "register
immediately" mode.  Someone registered their name, and I never received the
message.txt email.  Up until we went into immediate mode, I always received
them.

Any thoughts?
