Client Development

Hi I run a small IT Consultancy firm whch has been requested to look into developing a client for OpenSRS.  The language of choice for the system (our preference - for a number of reasons) is Java.   Is the current implementation of the openSRS API suitable for inegration with a Java client ?  If people would like to offer me any advice or detail thier own experiences they are welcome to do so offline rather than bother the entire group with such detail.   On a different note - I have been reading about the new API version which is due out - sometime ?  is there a definite date for release of the 2.2 API ?  Our company will be looking at starting development of the client system in the next few weeks.  I would rather stall development for a week or two rather than have to rework our designed solution to fit with the new model.  Details of a planned release or release schedule would be invaluable to me now while I am in the planning stage.   Thanks,   Michael Walmsley -------------------------------------------- Spiderweb Solutions Pty Ltd (e)  [EMAIL PROTECTED] (m) +61 407 366314
