*NOT TRUE*

I had a number of registrars attempt to play that game!

One call to Afilias was all it took for Afilias to remind the registrar of their *CONTRACTUAL* obligations. If fact Afilias, who I just love, really *HAMMERED* NSI when they played this game with me ..... To the point that a NSI VP (!) actually emailed me my auth codes. Hows that for getting a registrar's attention?

So long as the registry has the registrar by the short hairs the system works, and works *WELL*!

My only complaint is that the losing registrar can simply refuse to release
the auth codes and that's that. Right now you have at least a chance of
getting a transfer out of NetSol, assuming the planets are aligned.

Well, at least the registrar has proof that someone with access to the
AuthCode was involved ;)

There are rumours that Verisign may be employing AuthCodes - I see
this as a good thing.

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure.
