I just tried the same sequence on your test page and it worked -- first
choose audio, then stop, then choose audio + video

My app uses URL.createObjectURL as opposed to mozSrcObject that your test
uses.  That may have something to do with it.  The same sequence on FF/24
desktop does not retain the LocalMediaStream after calling .close()

I did notice a related symptom -- The microphone access is not released
even after refreshing the page.  Closing the tab also does not release the
mic.  I must terminate the browser to get the "microphone in use" icon and
pulsing LED to disappear.
