I found myself:
* [Platform/MediaSourceExtensions][1], something like a brief road map
for support of the [drafted][2] media source extensions which would
allow live video qstreaming.
Still I wonder: Is there something I can already use?
In my favor:
* I have full control over the server that produces the streams. There
has been no decision concerning technology yet.
* For a start, it only needs to run with Firefox OS, and not even with
a stable version. If there is a solution that runs with an unstable
Firefox OS version, or even if support is planned for the future,
and I can already test with Firefox, then that is fine.
* I don't need streaming of audio.
