Firefox 30 (I think) gives the option of making a permissions grant sticky.  
There will be a checkbox on the door hanger that can be selected to make the 
grant persistent.  That grant can be revoked through the site permissions 
manager.

I am of the opinion that Chrome’s behaviour (sticky by default) is a very bad 
idea.
