[cross-posting to stability]

 Hello everybody,
with the help of the people at TechPowerUp I managed to put together a script that scrapes Windows graphics drivers from Intel, AMD and Nvidia and extracts public symbols and unwinding tables from them (and sometimes even richer debug information). [1]

This will somewhat improve crash signatures for graphics-related crashes but more importantly will yield more consistent stack traces. You can see an example of a reprocessed crash here:

https://crash-stats.mozilla.org/report/index/fafe0268-9086-4c80-b342-9dc800230825

It will take the script a few weeks to catch up with all the available drivers, but once it has, it will scrape new drivers within 24h of release including beta and WHQL versions.
