Has Mozilla stopped supporting Thunderbird?
Thunderbird really has stopped being a priority. We're lucky we still get updates, it's still somewhat supported.
But I also receive S/MIME and use the Mozilla trust store to check them. And it currently seem they don't plan to remove those roots, but that they might require different audit requirements for them.
We might also need something like the baseline requirements for S/MIME. They just did that for code signing, so having it for S/MIME too would be useful.
