Several people kindly pointed out to me this ongoing discussion, and I was prepared to make a comment on the Email trust bit issue, but I'll defer that to the new discussion when it occurs. What do I have to do to make sure that I know about this upcoming discussion of the Email trust bit? Is following this newsgroup sufficient?

P.S. Various post-Snowden email security initiatives are now coming to a head, and this is likely to me a much-increased priority of Thunderbird in the future. We are currently talking about closely aligning with one such initiative.
