With all due respect, many of the people who participate in this
dev-security-policy group work for companies that operate publicly
trusted certificate authorities.  This should not be surprising to
anyone in this group.  Some contribute to this group in their personal
capacity (such as I'm doing now, using my personal email address)
while others contribute in their capacity as a company representative.
This is not new -- the archives of this group are public and you will
see this has been true for years.

What is important is the content of the contribution that is valuable,
not the sender.  If the contribution is factual information, then the
contributor should not matter nor should any perceived underlying
reason for the contribution.

If the screenshot has been modified to contain content that was not in
the original email or the whole thing was forged, then that is
relevant information to know.  The same is true for the documents
referenced elsewhere in this thread.  If people are posting forgeries,
then please let this group know, so they are not given credence.
